RELIGIOUS EDUCATION

Our Lady of the Angels Academy, Lansford, PA is currently our Grade School / Middle School for Catholic School Education.

The grade levels are Pre-K thru 8, with an excellent faculty and administration.

The towns of Lansford, Summit Hill, Coaldale and Nesquehoning feed into the school and the three Pastors

sit on the "Pastor Board" of the school.
The Immaculate Heart Sisters run the school as Principal.

Confraternity of Christian Doctrine (CCD) for Public School children is held every Tuesday during the school year from

5:30 PM to 6:30 PM in the Social Hall of St. Francis of Assisi Church on W Mill St.

Mrs. Sue Heckman is the Coordinator of Religious Education for all three parishes.

Rite of Christian Initiation of Adults, a program aimed to welcoming new Catholics or as a refresher from present Catholics is held from September to May in the Rectory   Fr. Tony moderates this program.
